Privacy policy
Last updated: 15 April 2026
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use this site, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what your rights are. It's written in plain English on purpose.
Who we are
This site is operated by A2ZTECHNOLOGIES LTD (“we”, “us”, or “a2zdigi”), a company registered in England & Wales. Our registered office is Engine Shed, Setsquared, Bristol, UK. For any questions about this policy or about the personal data we hold, email hello@a2zdigi.co.uk.
We are the data controller for the information you provide through this website.
What we collect, and why
From the booking form
When you book a discovery call at /book, we ask for your name, email address, and (optionally) your company name and a short note about the problem you're trying to solve. We also record the date and time you picked.
We use this information to confirm the booking, send you a calendar invite, and prepare for the call. We don't share it with anyone outside the companies listed under “Who we share data with” below, and we don't use it for marketing unless you specifically ask us to.
From analytics
If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people find useful. GA4 collects things like the pages you visit, how long you spend on them, your approximate country, your device type, and where you arrived from. This data is aggregated — we can see trends across all visitors, not what any specific individual did.
You can decline analytics cookies using the banner that appears on your first visit, and you can change your mind at any time using the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer. Declining has no effect on how the site works.
Legal basis for processing
Under the UK GDPR, we process your personal data on the following bases:
- Booking form submissions: Article 6(1)(b) — processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract (the discovery call).
- Analytics: Article 6(1)(a) — consent. We only enable analytics if you explicitly opt in.
- Operational records: Article 6(1)(f) — legitimate interests, where we retain booking records for a reasonable period to support ongoing client relationships and resolve any issues.
Who we share data with
We use a small number of third-party services to operate this site. They process data on our behalf under contract and may not use it for their own purposes:
- Resend — delivers the confirmation and notification emails from the booking form.
- Google Analytics 4 — aggregate site usage statistics, only if you have accepted analytics cookies.
- Our hosting provider — serves the website and holds server access logs for a short retention window.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making.
How long we keep it
- Booking records: retained in our inbox and records system for as long as reasonably necessary to support our working relationship, typically up to six years (in line with UK record-keeping norms). You can ask us to delete earlier.
- Analytics data: retained in Google Analytics for up to 14 months, then automatically deleted.
- Server logs: retained for no more than 30 days.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct it if it's wrong or incomplete
- Ask us to delete it (the “right to be forgotten”)
- Object to us processing it, or ask us to restrict processing
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Withdraw any consent you've previously given, at any time
To exercise any of these, email hello@a2zdigi.co.uk. We'll respond within 30 days. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), but we'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Cookies
We use a single category of cookie on this site:
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) — loaded only if you accept them via the consent banner.
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or social-media pixels. The site is fully usable if you decline analytics — no features are gated behind consent.
You can change your cookie preference at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the footer.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page if our data practices change. Material changes will be flagged at the top of the page for at least 30 days after they take effect. The “last updated” date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent revision.
